(June 2009). MassRecycle distributed this sixty-page
document containing concrete steps to make your office greener at the
Building Green Value ~ A Conference on Making Offices More Sustainable
and Cost Effective in June 2009.
2009 Recycling Coordinator
Manual, 4th Edition. This manual has been prepared for
Massachusetts Municipal Recycling Coordinators, whether they are brand
new or very experienced, regardless of whether they represent tiny
towns or big cities. This manual cannot provide all the answers
for all time, because the field changes so rapidly. We have chosen
instead to provide a brief discussion of each issue including
suggestions for action and resources (both people and places) to turn
for more up-to-date information. This manual provides basic information
to use when designing a program or finding information for that
resident or business person who has yet another version of that
perennial question “What do I do with my….?”

Organizations held on May 9, 2006 in Westborough.

Job
Description of a Municipal Recycling Coordinator. During
the summer of 2008,
MassRecycle developed a master
listing of all cited tasks expected of a “Recycling Coordinator”. It was compiled from roughly 30 different job
descriptions. The purpose was to learn
more
about the position and provide a tool to our members.
