Suna Bayrakal is a Senior Associate for Policy and Programs at the Product Stewardship Institute, a national nonprofit committed to reducing the health and environmental impacts of consumer products at end-of-life. She brings policy and engineering expertise to her current projects which focus on batteries, household hazardous waste, thermostats, and tires.
Todd Ellis, Call2Recycle
Todd Ellis is the Director of Product Stewardship Programs for Call2Recycle, Inc., North America’s first and largest battery stewardship program. He has more than 17 years of recycling and sustainability experience. Todd’s current position focuses on raising the awareness of battery product stewardship programs throughout North America.
Chris Hudgins, International Sleep Products Association
Christopher Hudgins is the Vice President for Government Relations and Policy at the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA). Chris is responsible for all of ISPA’s government affairs activities and serves as the face of the organization before policymakers. Chris also serves as VP for Industry and External Affairs for the Mattress Recycling Council, the non-profit organization created by the industry to implement mattress recycling laws.
Tom Metzner, CT DEEP
Tom Metzner has worked for the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for 23 years starting in the recycling group. Tom now focuses on implementation of extended producer responsibility initiatives for paint, mattresses, thermostats and electronics as well as future potential EPR programs. Tom is the Vice President of the Board for the Product Stewardship Institute.
