Marlene Faria Connelly, Town of Ipswich

Marlene Faria Connelly is the Recycling Coordinator for the Town of Ipswich. She oversees Ipswich’s solid waste and recycling programs and works with the Recycling Advisory Committee on townwide initiatives. She has been active for more than ten years in sustainability projects in Massachusetts schools and communities.

Julia Greene, City of Lynn

Julia Greene is the Recycling Coordinator for the City of Lynn, responsible for implementing education and outreach programs on recycling and waste reduction. She began her work implementing automated trash and recycling and is now working to develop other programs to reduce solid waste.

Lisa Nerich, City of Lynn

Lisa Nerich is the Associate Commissioner for the City of Lynn Department of Public Works. She was involved in the implementation of the automated trash and recycle program that commenced in December 2014. Lisa has worked for the Department of Public Works for nearly 30 years.

Jeff Kunz, Town of Braintree

Jeff Kunz has spent over 40 years as senior management in the private and manufacturing sectors and as a leader of education and science-based non- profits. At Braintree, he has innovatived in areas of contract development and negotiations and improved recycling through outreach activities and trash reduction initiatives for town residents.

Corey York, Town of Acton

Corey York has worked for Acton since 1994. He started with the Engineering Department and became the DPW Director in 2010. He is responsible for the Highway, Engineering and Municipal Properties Departments, the Transfer Station and sewer system.
