NEBRA advances best practices and sustainability in biosolids recycling. Ned has led projects and authored articles, papers, and book chapters on biosolids management in the Northeast and around North America.
Mike Lannan, Tech Environmental
Mike Lannan is President of Tech Environmental, an environmental consulting firm specializing in identifying and solving nuisance conditions. He has trained many officials on nuisance monitoring and response procedures. Mike has been involved in composting, digestion, land application and treatment of many different organic, wastewater, industrial and solid waste streams.
Greg Smith, Town of Needham
Greg Smith is the Superintendent of Solid Waste Operations for the Town of Needham. In this capacity, Greg is responsible for all aspects of DPW budgeting, procurement, operations and project management. He is also responsible for short and long term planning for Needham’s 30-year old transfer facility, capped landfill and extensive composting operation.
Scott Woods, Sustainable Generation
Scott Woods is the Founder and CEO of Sustainable Generation, a clean tech company that provides scalable, repeatable, organic recycling infrastructure solutions to the private and public markets. He is a former CEO and Partner of a large scale food waste composting facility. Scott holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA.
