Holly Fowler, Preserve
Holly Fowler is the Manager of Preserve’s Food Services Division, focused on bringing the smart, innovative design of Preserve products to the institutional, restaurant, and grocery markets in a new form. She co-founded and managed Northbound Ventures, a consulting firm specializing in sustainable communities and food systems since 2013, and served as the Senior Director of Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility for Sodexo North America from 2008-2013.
Morgan Harriman, Sanofi
Morgan Harriman oversees zero waste initiatives in North America for Sanofi, an integrated global healthcare leader, including Genzyme, Merial, Chattem and Sanofi Pasteur consisting of 17,000 employees and 35 locations. Prior to Sanofi, Morgan worked at MassDEP as a Commercial Waste Reduction Planner and at Town of Franklin, as a Recycling Coordinator.
Alex Hirshberg, Preserve
Alex Hirshberg is a Supply Chain Associate helping to ensure that supply meets demand for Preserve’s recycled, recyclable, and beautifully-designed products. He is also Preserve’s consumer-facing representative in International Sales, the Gimme 5 Program Coordinator, and the shipping facilitator for pallet-sized orders. After a couple years of work experience in the non-profit world, Alex found Preserve, loved the mission, and joined in September 2014.
Samara Norman, TREX
Samara Norman is the Senior Material Sourcing Representative for the Northeast Region at the Trex Company. She’s been with Trex since 2001, beginning her career in their Sales Department. She transferred to Materials in 2008, where she manages the company’s largest volume region. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Marketing from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University.
Barbara Sherman, ReFoamIt
Barbara Sherman is the co-owner of ReFoamIt, LLC with her husband, David. Their company is one of the few in MA that densifies foam, which is the first step in its journey into new products such as picture frames, clipboards and rulers. Barbara works hard to let the public know that foam is recyclable. Since January 2013, ReFoamIt has recycled over 235 tons of foam keeping it out of the landfills.

2016 R3 Conference Agenda
